Associate Program Stylists

Our comprehensive associate program offers hands-on training and mentorship with our experienced educators, providing you with the skills and confidence to deliver top-notch guest experiences. As an associate, you'll also have weekly opportunity days to work with your own clients and further hone your skills. Our goal is to ensure that every associate seamlessly transitions to a successful career as a stylist in our salon.

Though some customization of the program is often necessary, advancement through this program usually takes about 36-41 weeks. As in all level jumps at Purple Sage, advancement is performance-based: complete dedication, participation in educational opportunities, and achieving goals in pre-determined time frames.

Any stylist beginning a career at Purple Sage will be compensated hourly while moving through the beginning stages of pre-determined goals.
No compensation for services will be paid until the stylist jumps from Associate to Level One Stylist. Service commission at Purple Sage is on a sliding scale based on level.

Our salon company serves guests 5 days per week, with hours ranging from 10am to 7pm on most days (Saturday and Sunday 9-3). A typical schedule is 32 hours/week and will include night and weekend hours.
This is considered a full-time schedule. A normal shift will often be for six hours/day, with one or two longer shifts to fill out the schedule.

Guest Services Support Staff

The front desk sales role involves handling all sales activities and typical sales associate responsibilities. This includes welcoming customers, answering questions, offering help, making product suggestions, sharing opinions, and providing product details. Additionally, the role requires demonstrating excellent customer service and selling skills, as well as maintaining stock on the selling floor, assisting with merchandise displays, and ensuring the selling areas are organized. The responsibilities also extend to processing payments, managing phone calls and emails, and interacting courteously and professionally with guests.
Availability for evening shifts and at least one weekend day is necessary.
